Linnaeus’s Two-Toed Sloth Skull #00120

This is the skull of a Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth!

The Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth is a famously slow-moving arboreal mammal native to South America. It is one of two two-toed sloth species, distinguished from the distantly-related three-toed sloths by the number of digits on its front limbs. This species is rare and highly sought-after in collections.
This is a fantastic large captive adult example of the species in premium condition. It was beetle-cleaned, degreased, and lightly whitened with hydrogen peroxide, but left an attractive natural color. The hyoid is intact on this specimen. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
