This is the complete skeleton of a rare Harlequin macaw!

The Harlequin macaw is the offspring of a blue-and-gold macaw and a green-winged macaw. This man-made hybrid combines features of both parents, with a horn-colored upper beak and beautiful orange and blue plumage.
This fantastic and rarely offered specimen is in pristine condition with all bones present. The skull is fully cleaned and ready to display with the beak sheath intact. The skeleton has been beetle cleaned but will need whitened and finished.
PLEASE NOTE: Hybrid animals are not protected under the Endangered Species Act, so this Harlequin macaw (blue-and-gold macaw x green-winged macaw) skeleton is LEGAL to buy and sell across state lines. Neither parent species is ESA-listed. This skeleton is from a captive animal that died at a facility.
