Morelet’s Crocodile Skull #00218

This is the skull of a Morelet’s crocodile!

Morelet’s crocodile is a mid-sized crocodilian with a small range in Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. Adults can reach sizes of up to 10 feet. Unlike many crocodile species, Crocodylus moreletii is not ESA-listed. The species is occasionally kept it captivity as an exotic pet, but it is expensive and difficult to keep. Skulls of this species are uncommon in collections.
This is the skull and shell of a young captive specimen. The skull was beetle-cleaned, degreased, and whitened with hydrogen peroxide and is in great condition. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
