Collared Peccary Skull #00220
This is the skull of a collared peccary!
The collared peccary or javelina is a pig-like artiodactyl native to North, Central, and South America. Although they resemble suids and are related, they are not true pigs.
This is a super cool subadult example of the species in excellent condition with a mix of deciduous (baby) and emerging adult dentition. It is rare to find examples of the species at this age! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
