Gray Wolf Skull #00231

This is the skull of a gray wolf!

The gray wolf is a canine native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the largest extant wild canid and is highly social and intelligent.
This is a particularly “dire-looking” extra robust mature example from Alaska. It measures 10 3/4 inches long and is in great condition with intact nasal turbinates, nice teeth, and interesting pathology to the sagittal crest. The occipital condyles were cut a bit short, but it is otherwise a very impressive and unique specimen. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed population (ID, MT, and AK populations are not listed) and is legal to sell and possess. However, gray wolf parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
