Western Spotted Skunk Skull #00257

This is the skull of a western spotted skunk!
The western spotted skunk is a small black and white mammal native to western North America. Like all skunks, it possesses musk-producing scent glands that it wields to ward off potential predators.
This is a nice example of the species with a good set of teeth. The sinuses of this specimen show erosion from a parasitic nematode that commonly infests the frontal sinuses of spotted skunks and related species. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
