Permian Amphibian Footprint Fossil #00282

This is the fossil footprint of an ancient amphibian!

Spanning 47 million years from the end of the Carboniferous Period 298.9 million years ago to the beginning of the Triassic Period, the Permian period was the last period of the Paleozoic era. It it from the Sangre de Cristo Formation in New Mexico and was originally purchased at a fossil show several years ago. It is displayed with a label in a Riker display case.
