Giant Ground Sloth Foot Bone Fossil #00335
This is the foot bone of a giant ground sloth!
Although there are only six extant species today, the sloth family used to be much more diverse. Up until the end of the Ice Age, there were many species of terrestrial sloths, too, and some got huge – as big as a bull African elephant!
This is an excellent Pleistocene (Ice Age, 10,000+ years old) fossil foot bone from Eremotherium, an elephant-sized giant ground sloth. Legally collected in Florida, it is in pristine condition. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
A fossil, this specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
