This is the skull of a cougar!

The cougar or mountain lion is a large cat native to most of North, Central, and South America. Despite its size and appearance, it is more closely related to the small cats of the subfamily Felinae.
This is a beautiful and virtually flawless adult female example of the species with a great set of teeth and intact nasal turbinates. It has been beetle-cleaned, degreased, and whitened with hydrogen peroxide. It measures 7 3/4 inches long, which is large for a female. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. However, cougar parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
