This is the skull of a cougar!

The cougar or mountain lion is a large cat native to most of North, Central, and South America. Despite its size and appearance, it is more closely related to the small cats of the subfamily Felinae.
This is a premium extra large adult male example of the species with a great set of teeth and intact nasal turbinates. This skull has it all: beautiful teeth, a nice big crest, even a bit of pathology on the nasal bones. It has been beetle-cleaned, degreased, and whitened with hydrogen peroxide. It measures over 8 1/2 inches long! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. However, cougar parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
