This is the skull of a domestic Muscovy duck!
The domestic Muscovy (Cairina moschata domestica) is the domestic form of the wild Muscovy duck, a species of waterfowl native to the Americas. It was originally domesticated by Native Americans. It produces sterile hybrids when crossed with the common domestic duck.
This is a nice example of the species. It was beetle-cleaned and whitened in strong hydrogen peroxide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
