Domestic Cow Skull #00527

This is the skull of a domestic cow!

The wild aurochs was one of the earliest species to be domesticated by humans, first domesticated over 10,000 years ago. This resulted in two lineages of domestic cattle from at least two separate domestication events: the taurine line and the indicine line. Today there are approximately 1.5 billion cattle in the world.
This is the skull of a young adult polled (hornless) taurine breed. It is in good nature-cleaned condition with intact nasal turbinates. It is uncommon to find large cow skulls with the mandible intact. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
