This is the taxidermy mount of a nine-banded armadillo!

The nine-banded armadillo is an unusual armored mammal found in North, Central, and South America. It is the only extant armadillo species present in the United States.
This is a nice vintage example of the species. These usually have damage to the tail, shell, and toes, but this one is in surprisingly good shape with minimal losses. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
