The rock pocket mouse is a rodent native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. Pocket mice are named for their fur-lined cheek pouches.
This is a great example of the uncommon species with all teeth and the atlas vertebra from a museum collection. It was collected in Tucson, Arizona. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
