Klipspringer Skull #00575

This is the skull of a klipspringer!
The klipspringer is a small antelope species native to eastern and southern Africa. Males bear short straight horns and females are hornless. Related to dik-diks and the suni, klipspringers are notable among antelopes for being highly monogamous.
This is a nice male example sourced from a US collection. The mandible and incisive bones are well-matching replacements. This species is relatively rare in collections. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
