Alligator Gar Skull #00630

This is the skull of an alligator gar!

The alligator gar is a carnivorous ray-finned fish endemic to North America. It is both the largest gar species and largest native freshwater fish in North America, growing up to 10 feet in length.
This is a nice vintage representative of the species in great condition. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches long with attached vertebrae. It still has some flesh attached and could use further cleaning. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
