Large Hairy Armadillo Taxidermy Mount #00641

This is the taxidermy mount of a large hairy armadillo!

The large hairy armadillo is a(n aptly-named) large and hairy armadillo species native to South America in Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay. This species is a rare find in collections, especially compared to the more commonly seen nine-banded armadillo.
It’s rare enough to find a taxidermy example of this species, but even if you do, they usually have damage to the tail, shell, and toes. This one is in incredibly good shape, with no visible losses and a perfect tail! You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better example, so don’t pass it up. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
