Mountain Cottontail Skull #00673

This is the skull of a mountain cottontail!

The mountain cottontail is a rabbit species native to intermountain areas of the Western United States and parts of Canada. It is a fairly uncommon find – this is one of only two examples of the species we’ve had.
Originally from a museum collection, this is an excellent example of the species in great condition. It has all teeth and intact nasal turbinates. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
