The stag-moose (Cervalces scotti) is a large extinct deer species that lived in North America during the Late Pleistocene epoch. It was as large as a moose with similar palmate antlers, though it was built more like an elk. Fossils of this species are rare and highly sought-after.
This is a nearly complete shed antler from a young bull stag-moose. It was found in Iowa. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
