African Civet Skull #00728

This is the skull of an African civet!

The African civet is a large spotted viverrid native to Africa. The viverrids are a family of feliform (cat-like) carnivores.
Sourced from a US taxidermist, this is a nice subadult example of the species with a good set of teeth. Like many safari specimens, it was somewhat roughly prepared and could use further cleaning, but it is in good shape overall. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
