Chinese Water Deer Skull #00741

This is the skull of a Chinese roe deer!

The Chinese water deer is a small deer species native to Korea and China with an introduced population in Great Britain. Males bear long tusks, but they are the only true deer without antlers.
This is an excellent and interesting pathological male example of the species. His left canine never erupted, resulting in an unusual wear pattern on the right canine. This skull is in great condition with all teeth. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
