The thornback ray is a species of cartilaginous fish native to the Atlantic coastal waters of Europe and western Africa. It is a small ray, with adults measuring less than a meter long.
Sourced from a US collection, this unusual jaw is in excellent condition. It’s the only example of this species we have ever offered. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
