Four-Horned Pronghorn Skull #00797
This is the skull of a pronghorn!
The pronghorn is an unusual artiodactyl native to western North America. It is the last surviving member of a once-diverse group that is most closely related to the giraffe and okapi.
This is an exceptionally rare FOUR-HORNED male pronghorn skull. It has four genuine horns with bony cores. This is possibly an atavism, as some extinct pronghorn species had more than two horns. You won’t find another for sale! The skull itself is in excellent shape, but could use further degreasing. It is missing one horn sheath. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
