Caracal Skull #00818

This is the skull of a caracal!

The caracal is a medium-sized wildcat native to Africa and parts of Asia. It is very athletic, able to leap more than 10 feet into the air while hunting prey.
This is a nice adult example of the species with a good set of teeth and intact nasal turbinates. It it weren’t for the minor damage to the left zygomatic arch, it would be near-perfect! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
