Gerenuk Skull #00856

This is the skull of a gerenuk!

The gerenuk is a long-necked antelope native to eastern Africa. Males bear curved and tightly-ringed lyre-shaped horns. Skulls of this species are rare and sought-after in collections, as it is uncommonly hunted and typically taxidermy-mounted.
This is a nice mature male example of the species sourced from a US collection. It could use further cleaning, but has a beautiful set of horns. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
