Gray Wolf Skull #00870

This is the skull of a gray wolf!

The gray wolf is a canine native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the largest extant wild canid and is highly social and intelligent.
This is a huge male example of the species with intact nasal turbinates. It’s a true 12” by 6 3/16″ record-book-sized specimen – a size seen in dire wolves but gray wolves rarely attain. This specimen is from Alaska. It was headshot but is otherwise excellent with some interesting dental pathologies. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed population (ID, MT, and AK populations are not listed) and is legal to sell and possess. However, gray wolf parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
