This is the pathological leg of a coyote!
The coyote is a medium-sized canid native to North America. Widespread and adaptable, it is quite variable in size and appearance across its range.
This is the pathological partial rear leg/foot of a coyote. This individual suffered a severe injury that eventually healed, fusing the bones of the foot together. The foot has been beetle-cleaned, degreased, and whitened with hydrogen peroxide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
