This is the skull of a Kamchatka brown bear!

The Kamchatka brown bear (Ursus arctos beringianus) is a large and distinct brown bear subspecies. It is the largest Eurasian brown bear, comparable in size and ancestral to the Kodiak brown bear of North America. This subspecies is rare in US collections.
Sourced from a US collection, this skull was legally taken on the Kamchatka Peninsula. It measures roughly (not calipered) 16 1/4 inches long and 9 inches wide. Certainly one of the largest bear skulls we’ve ever offered for sale, if not the largest! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
