This is the skull of a black lory!

The black lory (Chalcopsitta atra) is a beautiful back-feathered species of parrot native to Indonesia. It has a striking yellow and red under-tail.
Sourced from a US collection, this is an excellent adult example of the species in great condition. This species of lory is rare in collections – this is the only example we’ve seen. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is a legal bird skull – it is not from an ESA- or MBTA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
