The western pygmy marmoset is a small monkey native to South America. Pygmy marmosets are the smallest monkeys in the world, only weighing just over 100 grams. Unlike most primates, marmoset monkeys have claw-like nails. This species of marmoset is much more rare in collections than the related common and Geoffroy’s marmosets.
Sourced from an old US collection, his is a beautiful adult example of the uncommon species in excellent condition. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
