This is the skull of a collared peccary!
The collared peccary or javelina is a pig-like artiodactyl native to North, Central, and South America. Although they resemble suids and are related, they are not true pigs.
This is a cool nature-found example from a 40-year-old collection. It is weathered, but still an interesting piece. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
