The dromedary camel is a domestic camelid. It was first domesticated at least 4,000 years ago. Though feral populations exist, it has not occurred naturally in the wild for over 2,000 years. This species of camelid can be distinguished from others by the presence of a single fatty hump on its back.
This is the skull of a mature adult specimen in excellent condition with good teeth and intact nasal turbinates. It measures 20 inches long and 10 inches wide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
