This is the skull of a black-backed jackal!

The black-backed jackal is a coyote-like canid native to southern and eastern Africa. It is named for the black saddle-like marking on its back.
Sourced from a US collection, this is a nice older animal with worn teeth and great character. It is missing a few teeth, but solid overall. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
