Reticulate Whipray Jaw #01068

This is the jaw of a female reticulate whipray!

The reticulate whipray is a species of stingray native to coastal waters in the western Indian Ocean. It is sometimes seen in the home aquarium trade, though it is difficult to keep due to its large size. Wild populations are decreasing, but the species is not protected by the ESA.
Sourced from a US collection, this unusual captive example is in excellent condition. It’s the only example of this species we have ever offered. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This jaw is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
