Red River Hog Skull #01095
This is the skull of a red river hog!
Closely related to the bushpig, the red river hog (Potamochoerus porcus) is a wild pig native to the forests of Africa. It has a bright red coat and tasseled ears.
This is a nice captive female specimen. It was nature-cleaned and is weathered, but is still a good example. This species is less common in collections than the related bushpig (Potamochoerus larvatus). Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
