“Hogzilla” Domestic Pig Skull #01105

This is the huge skull of a domestic pig!
The domestic pig is the domesticated form of the wild boar. It is considered a subspecies of Sus scrofa, first domesticated for its hide and meat over 11,000 years ago in the Near East in or around the Tigris Basin. Approximately 1.5 billion pigs are slaughtered each year for meat, though they are increasingly kept as companion animals.
This is an absolutely massive example, by far the largest we’ve had. It measures 14 1/2 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 12 inches tall. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
