Giant Forest Hog Skull #01118

This is the skull of a giant forest hog!

The giant forest hog is a suid native to forests of Africa. It is the largest extant wild pig alongside some populations of the wild boar, and a very rare find in collections.
This is a very nice large adult male example from a US collection and the only example of the species we’ve ever offered for sale. It is missing the tusks, but it shouldn’t be hard to find replacements that fit. Taxidermy companies make replicas, and a warthog set would work in a pinch. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
