Brown Bear Skull #01119
This is the skull of a brown bear!
The brown bear is a widespread and variable bear species native to North America and Eurasia. It varies greatly in size across its range; the biggest brown bear subspecies compete with the polar bear as the largest living land carnivoran.
This is a beautiful young adult example from old collection. It measures about 12 inches long and 6 1/4 inches wide and has an unusually nice set of teeth. It’s rare to find a brown bear so nice! See Picture 5 for a tooth comparison between the brown bear (bottom) and a large adult American black bear. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. However, brown bear parts are restricted in some states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
