Black-Backed Jackal Skull #01126

This is the skull of a black-backed jackal!

The black-backed jackal is a coyote-like canid native to southern and eastern Africa. It is named for the black saddle-like marking on its back.
This is a nice vintage example from our personal collection. It is missing one tooth and displays a healed bite mark on the rostrum. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
