This is the skull of a fennec fox!

The fennec fox is a large-eared vulpine native to the deserts of North Africa. It is the smallest of the true foxes and the smallest extant canid overall, weighing only 3 pounds on average. It is sometimes kept as an exotic pet. The skull is relatively rare in collections, and even rarer still at this age and condition.
This tiny adorable skull is in virtually flawless condition. It is from a subadult individual that passed naturally in captivity in the US. This skull was beetle-cleaned, degreased, and whitened with hydrogen peroxide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
