This is the skull of a black lory!

The black lory (Chalcopsitta atra) is a beautiful back-feathered species of parrot native to Indonesia. It has a striking yellow and red under-tail.
Sourced from a US collection, this is an excellent pathological adult example of the species in great condition. It has a healed injury on its mandible. This species of lory is rare in collections. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
