Greater Capybara Skull #01221

This is the skull of a capybara!

The famous greater capybara is the world’s biggest rodent, with the largest recorded specimens weighing up to 200 pounds! It is native to South America and closely related to the diminutive guinea pig.
This is a nice antique adult example of the species in good vintage condition. It has some incisor damage and the mandible is attached to the maxilla. It measures an impressive 9 1/2 inches long. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
