This is the skull of a Belding’s ground squirrel!
The Belding’s ground squirrel is a rodent native to mountains in the western United States.
This is an excellent example of the species with all teeth. It was beetle-cleaned, degreased, and whitened with hydrogen peroxide. It has some soot staining and the mandible is glued to the skull. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
