Brown Bear Skull #01254

This is the skull of a brown bear!
The brown bear is a widespread and variable bear species native to North America and Eurasia. It varies greatly in size across its range; the biggest brown bear subspecies compete with the polar bear as the largest living land carnivoran.
This is an interesting and uncommon subadult example from old collection. It measures about 11 inches long and 6 inches wide. It is rare to find one this age and size, but with those big teeth, the ID is undeniable! This specimen could use further cleaning. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. However, brown bear parts are restricted in some states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
