This is the fossil shell of an Ice Age box turtle!

This is an incredible fossil shell of an extinct Ice Age box turtle species from a land site in South Carolina. Despite its modern look, it is Middle Pleistocene in age (Irvingtonian, between 250,000 and 400,000 years old). Shells of this condition are virtually unheard of in collections – it is nearly flawless with just some minor crack fill. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
A fossil, this specimen is not from an ESA-listed population and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
