Barbary Dove Skull #01288

This is the skull of a Barbary dove!

The Barbary dove (Streptopelia risoria), also called the ringneck dove in aviculture, is a domesticated species of dove believed to be domesticated from the African collared dove.
This is a nice example of the species. It was beetle-cleaned and gently whitened in strong hydrogen peroxide. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is a domesticated legal bird skull – it is not from an ESA- or MBTA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
