Rhesus Macaque Skeleton #01328

This is the skeleton of a macaque!
The rhesus macaque is an Old World monkey species native to Eurasia. It and the related crab-eating macaque are common in captivity.
This is an excellent captive male example from a US facility. This partially articulated and almost complete skeleton is a “Franken-macaque!” The skeleton is from a male rhesus macaque and the skull is from a male crab-eating macaque. It is missing a few small bones, but would make a great project piece for a beginner articulator. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
