This is the skull of a gray wolf!
The gray wolf is a canine native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is the largest extant wild canid and is highly social and intelligent.
This interesting example was supposedly killed and partially eaten by other wolves. The zygomatic arches have damage from predation and it is missing the tiny rear molars. This specimen is from Alaska. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
This specimen is not from an ESA-listed population (ID, MT, and AK populations are not listed) and is legal to sell and possess. However, gray wolf parts cannot be sold to all states, so please know your local laws before inquiring. US sales only, sorry!
