This is the cast replica skull of Hyaenodon horridus!
Hyaenodon horridus is an extinct carnivorous mammal that lived in North America during the Oligocene epoch about 30 million years ago. About the size of a modern gray wolf, it was an apex predator named for its hyena-like dentition.
This is an interesting vintage plaster cast of a real specimen. It is in good vintage condition with some minor flaws. Real fossil skulls go for thousands of dollars! Please review all pictures and description for condition.
