Fossil Ground Sloth Paramylodon Claw #01360

This is the claw core of a ground sloth!
Although there are only six extant species today, the sloth family used to be much more diverse. Up until the end of the Ice Age, there were many species of terrestrial sloths, too, and some got huge – as big as a bull African elephant!
This is an excellent Pleistocene (Ice Age, 10,000+ years old) fossil claw core from a juvenile Harlan’s ground sloth. Legally collected in Florida, it is in beautiful condition with only light wear. It has a small amount of restoration on the proximal end. Please review all pictures and description for condition.
A fossil, this specimen is not from an ESA-listed species and is legal to sell and possess. US sales only, sorry!
